Connor Whitlock

Connor is a Vice President of Acquisitions at Peak Capital Partners. Connor is responsible for overseeing acquisitions and operations of multi-family assets in select U.S. markets. Prior to joining Peak, Connor worked for a commercial real estate firm where he focused on development and asset management. Connor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University.

Jennifer Watkins

Jennifer Watkins has been a Vice President at Peak Living since 2017. Jennifer has extensive experience in management, marketing, and forecasting. Jennifer previously worked as a General Manager for Irvine Apartment Management, and as regional manager for Stratus Real Estate, AIMCO, and Alliance Residential. Jennifer attended California State University Fullerton and is a Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS)
through the NAA.

Stacy Walton

Stacy Walton’s tenure in property management began as a leasing agent for Robertson Properties in Southern California and quickly progressed to Community Manager responsible for on-site operations and property performance while overseeing several communities in the Southern California Market. Stay’s experience includes being an on-site manager of HUD communities, as well as wholly-owned to fee-managed communities. Stacy has been successful on several lease-up communities in Utah, California, and Downtown Seattle Markets as a Regional Trainer and Regional Manager. Stacy has worked for numerous local and national property management companies including Robertson Properties, Pacesetter Homes, RPM Company, BRE Properties, and Alliance Residential Company. Stacy holds a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) certification through the National Apartment Association (NAA). 

Scott Walton

Scott Walton is the Director of Project Management at Peak Living. Scott supervises the team overseeing capital improvements throughout Peak Capital Partner’s portfolio. Scott began working for Peak Capital in 2014 as an Asset Manager and has a background in construction/property management. Scott began his career with the General Services Administration where he managed capital construction projects on owned assets. Scott was promoted to manage the on-site operations, budgets and projects for the 2 million square feet of federal space in Utah. After another promotion, Scott took on responsibility for all facility management operations in North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana and Utah. Scott oversaw on-site operations, budget execution and project completion for an inventory of approximately 5 million square feet of space. Scott earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Facilities Management from Brigham Young University.

Trent Wallin

Trent Wallin oversees the accounting and financial reporting at Peak Capital and its affiliates. Prior to Peak Capital, Trent worked as the Controller / Director of Accounting at Viking Cruises, a rapidly growing cruise line, where he became skilled at analyzing processes and scaling for greater efficiency while ensuring uncompromising compliance with financial reporting requirements under US GAAP and IFRS. Trent also worked at Ernst & Young in the Assurance and Advisory Business Services group for four and a half years. During his tenure there, Trent worked with clients from a variety of industries, including financial services. Trent worked on teams to perform financial statement and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance audits and advised on various accounting and auditing related matters. Trent also spent three years with a regional CPA firm where he was responsible for preparing financial statements and advising publicly-traded clients in technical accounting areas, including accounting for complex financial instruments. Trent is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the states of California and Utah. Trent has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 2007. 

Parley Vernon

Parley Vernon is a manager on the FP&A team at Peak Capital Partners. Prior to joining the team at Peak, Parley worked for four years at Wasatch Storage Partners where he oversaw and managed the underwriting of new storage acquisitions and developments across the country. Before that, Parley spent nearly four years in investment banking with Goldman Sachs. While there he managed default risk and credit ratings in the municipal, health care, and industrial sectors.
Parley holds a BA in Finance from Brigham Young University as well as an MBA from BYU’s Marriott School of Management where he was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship

Natasha Vargas

Natasha Vargas has over 15 years of property management experience.  During that time, Natasha has held a variety of positions ranging from Leasing Specialist, Assistant Manager, Community Manager, Regional Manager, Director of Operations, Compliance Direction, and Regional Vice President. Natasha’s expertise lies in multiple affordable programs including Tax Credit, Bond, HOME, HUD, and Rural Development.  Natasha’s leadership style is described as communicative, innovative, and lead by emotional intelligence.  Natasha earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Real Estate and Urban Land Economics, and also holds HCCP, SHCM, STAR RD, RD, ACE, and ARM designations.

Sadie Stahura

Sadie Stahura is a Specialist in the Investor Relations team at Peak Capital Partners. Sadie is responsible for the maintenance of the secure investor portal, investor onboarding, processing investor distributions, and assisting with reporting. Prior to joining the Investor Relations team, Sadie was an Executive Assistant to the Founders at Peak, which gave her a great understanding of the critical functions of the firm. Sadie holds a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Studies from Weber State University.

Sheylbe Smith

Sheylbe Smith is an Asset Manager at Peak Capital Partners. Sheylbe began her real estate career in 2010 and has held positions ranging from Leasing Agent to Asset Manager. Sheylbe’s experience includes overseeing luxury lease-ups, stabilized, conventional, student housing, and mixed-use assets in urban and suburban markets, exceeding a portfolio of 4000+ units in several different markets from the South East to the West Coast. Sheylbe holds expertise in luxury lease-ups, creating and maintaining budgets, overseeing substantial renovations and CapEx projects, managing due diligence projects, ensuring smooth transitions for the properties integrating into her portfolio, implementing strategies to reduce expenses and maximize revenue, negotiating with and hiring suppliers, along with training and mentoring associates. Sheylbe has her bachelor’s degree in Business Management, has her CAM designation, is a CPM Candidate and is currently serving on the Board of Directors and several other committees for the Utah Apartment Association as well as a member of the Diversity Advisory Board for IREM.

Matthew Sant

Matthew Sant oversees Asset Strategy across Peaks’ portfolio of multifamily assets. Matthew has an extensive background in Asset Management for multifamily properties in over 29 states and Puerto Rico. He has played an integral role within Peak in managing acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, investor relationships, and strategy. Matthew’s real estate experience includes working for JP Morgan Chase and Cottonwood Residential, a Private REIT. Matthew holds a B.S. in Finance from Brigham Young University-Hawaii and is currently working on his MBA at Brigham Young University, with an emphasis in finance and strategy.
