PROVO, Utah (Aug. 18, 2015) – Peak Capital Partners, a Utah-based apartment investment and management company, today announced it acquired Parkview Terrace in West Warwick, RI.

“Parkview Terrace is close to major retailers, schools and new restaurants,” said Chris Manning, a managing director at Peak. “West Warwick is undergoing a revitalization to support local businesses, while preserving its small town heritage. This is Peak’s first apartment community in Rhode Island and we look forward to acquiring more properties in the area.”

The 83-unit community was constructed in 1972 and renovated in 1995. Peak plans onsite improvements that include the addition of a new leasing office, new roofing and gutters, new paint, and a new parking lot.

Parkview Terrace offers unique one- and two-bedroom townhome style floor plans. Several units offer back patios and vaulted ceilings. The community is minutes from the Warwick Mall, T.F. Green International Airport, Amtrak Railway, Kent County Hospital and downtown Providence. The community uses the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) federal housing program to make rent affordable to residents.

Recreational activities include walking or biking along the Pawtuxet River and enjoying Riverpoint Park. West Warwick is making efforts to improve its park system with updated grounds and structures. Also close to Parkview Terrace is McCarthy Field, a baseball stadium that plays host to high school and small college teams.
