PROVO, Utah (June 17, 2016) – Peak Capital Partners, a Utah-based apartment investment and management company, today announced it was recognized as a winner of the 2016 Commercial Real Estate Awards.

Peak won in the Investors Private Equity category. The winners were recognized June 13 at an awards ceremony at the Grand Hyatt in New York City.

National Real Estate Investor and Information Management Network joined forces this year on the NREI/IMN 2016 Commercial Real Estate Awards, honoring the outstanding achievements of America’s leading real estate organizations over the past 12 months.

“The inaugural awards program recognizes and honors forward-thinking organizations that support real estate investor success—and exemplify the highest degree of business excellence in the commercial real estate industry,” said David Bodamer, NREI’s executive director of content and user engagement. “We congratulate all of the 2016 winners for their significant contributions to the industry during the past year.”

The awards were based on a system of nominations and peer selection. A panel of judges made up of top names in the industry determined the winners. Other award winners recognized this year by NREI included: CBRE, Moody’s/RCA, Cushman & Wakefield, and JLL.

The NREI award joins a series of other significant awards by Peak. This year Peak won the CXO of the Year award from Utah Business magazine for outstanding performance by a senior executive. In 2015, Peak was presented with a Silver Stevie® Award in the Executive of the Year/Real Estate Category at the 2015 American Business Awards. In 2014, Peak was named by Inc. Magazine to the Inc. 500 list of America’s fastest growing private companies. Peak also received the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 Award in the financial services category in the Mountain West region. For the past three consecutive years, Peak was named a Top 10 fastest growing company in Utah by the MountainWest Capital Network.
