Parley Vernon is a senior manager on the FP&A team at Peak Capital Partners. Prior to joining the team at Peak, Parley worked for four years at Wasatch Storage Partners where he oversaw and managed the underwriting of new storage acquisitions and developments across the country. Before that, Parley spent nearly four years in investment banking with Goldman Sachs. While there he managed default risk and credit ratings in the municipal, health care, and industrial sectors.
Parley holds a BA in Finance from Brigham Young University as well as an MBA from BYU’s Marriott School of Management where he was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship
Natasha Vargas
Natasha Vargas has over 15 years of property management experience. During that time, Natasha has held a variety of positions ranging from Leasing Specialist, Assistant Manager, Community Manager, Regional Manager, Director of Operations, Compliance Direction, and Regional Vice President. Natasha’s expertise lies in multiple affordable programs including Tax Credit, Bond, HOME, HUD, and Rural Development. Natasha’s leadership style is described as communicative, innovative, and lead by emotional intelligence. Natasha earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Real Estate and Urban Land Economics, and also holds HCCP, SHCM, STAR RD, RD, ACE, and ARM designations.
Sadie Stahura
Sadie Stahura is an Associate in the Investor Relations team at Peak Capital Partners. Sadie is responsible for the maintenance of the secure investor portal, investor onboarding, processing investor distributions, and assisting with reporting. Prior to joining the Investor Relations team, Sadie was an Executive Assistant to the Founders at Peak, which gave her a great understanding of the critical functions of the firm. Sadie holds a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Studies from Weber State University.
Sheylbe Smith
Sheylbe Smith is the Vice President of Asset Management at Peak Capital Partners. Sheylbe began her real estate career in 2010 and has held positions ranging from Leasing Agent to Asset Manager. Sheylbe’s experience includes overseeing luxury lease-ups, stabilized, conventional, student housing, and mixed-use assets in urban and suburban markets, exceeding a portfolio of 4000+ units in several different markets from the South East to the West Coast. Sheylbe holds expertise in luxury lease-ups, creating and maintaining budgets, overseeing substantial renovations and CapEx projects, managing due diligence projects, ensuring smooth transitions for the properties integrating into her portfolio, implementing strategies to reduce expenses and maximize revenue, negotiating with and hiring suppliers, along with training and mentoring associates. Sheylbe has her bachelor’s degree in Business Management, has her CAM designation, is a CPM Candidate and is currently serving on the Board of Directors and several other committees for the Utah Apartment Association as well as a member of the Diversity Advisory Board for IREM.
Matthew Sant
Matthew Sant oversees Asset Strategy across Peaks’ portfolio of multifamily assets. Matthew has an extensive background in Asset Management for multifamily properties in over 29 states and Puerto Rico. He has played an integral role within Peak in managing acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, investor relationships, and strategy. Matthew’s real estate experience includes working for JP Morgan Chase and Cottonwood Residential, a Private REIT. Matthew holds a B.S. in Finance from Brigham Young University-Hawaii and is currently working on his MBA at Brigham Young University, with an emphasis in finance and strategy.
Stacey Roylance
Stacey Roylance has been in the industry for 5 years. Stacey originally started as a leasing agent and worked her way to an Assistant Manager role quickly. With Stacey’s strong sense of operations and software programs she took the opportunity to join Peak Living in a more corporate role where she could utilize her onsite experience effectively. Stacey has been instrumental in the transitions of 15 plus assets while employed as the Yardi Specialist/Transition Specialist role at Peak Living. With her attention to detail and strong knowledge of Yardi systems, Stacey moved to Peak Capital as their Database Manager to ensure effective and smooth transitions as Peak Capital continues to grow. In her career she has worked for RK Properties, Alliance Residential and Peak
Kristin Quinn
Kristin Quinn has over twenty years multifamily management and asset management experience in HUD, LIHTC, and market rate communities. Kristin has worked with owner-managers and third-party management, at one time overseeing over 8,000 units! Kristin has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton with a History major, and a Master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati with an emphasis in Archaeology. Kristin has also earned her Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designations. Kristin believes in a supportive leadership style and focuses on collaboration, empowerment, and training to achieve desired results.
Nathan Petersen
Nathan Petersen oversees the FP&A and Investor Relations functions at Peak. Nathan began his career in property management of federally owned and leased buildings with the General Services Administration in Denver, CO. There he managed the largest federal office building in its 6-state region, working with several high-profile agency tenants and on a variety of complex capital projects totaling over $200 M. Nathan also worked as an asset management analyst for an investment group with several types of assets including multifamily properties in several U.S. markets and has served in varying capacities with companies in the real estate industry.
Jennifer Patterson
Jennifer Patterson is an Asset Manager at Peak Capital Partners. Jennifer oversees asset performance, and management operations for the firm’s real estate portfolios across multiple regions. Jennifer has an extensive background in property management and on-site operations. Jennifer began her career as a leasing consultant for Triton Investments, and quickly progressed to Vice President with Cornerstone Property Management. She also spent 2 years, with Aveneu5, as a Regional Manager. During her career, she has been responsible for overseeing daily on-site operations, extensive capital projects, property renovations, as well as property lease-ups. She has experience with all types of properties, including Section 42 multi-family, Senior and luxury Communities. Jennifer has been a board member of the Utah Apartment Association.
Kyle Oler
Kyle Oler is the Vice President of CapEx Startegy at Peak Capital and is responsible for overseeing capital renovations at properties within the Peak portfolio and assisting in due diligence of new acquisitions. Additionally, Kyle oversees energy efficiency, benchmarking, and work that improves the safety and liability risks at Peak’s properties. Kyle has been inspecting multi-family apartment communities since 1998. Kyle began his career as the founder of Realty Check Inspections, a property inspection firm specializing in apartment complexes. Since that time, Kyle has performed over 4,000 inspections or Capital Needs Assessments in 36 states for private investment entities, HUD, Rural Development and institutional lenders. Kyle obtained Bachelor of Science degrees in both Construction Management and Business Management from Utah Valley State College. Kyle is a LEED Accredited Professional and member of the US Green Building Council with current certifications from HUD and the American Society of Home Inspectors.
